Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of CVPro, a digital service operated by XENOVARIT, established in Portugal ("XENOVARIT", "we", "us"). By accessing or using CVPro you enter into a binding agreement with XENOVARIT and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you must not use the service. If you use CVPro on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

CVPro provides software tools for AI-assisted analysis and improvement of curricula vitae (CVs / résumés): estimated scores, ATS-oriented checks, and suggested edits that you may accept, edit or reject. You may optionally supply a job description so that suggestions can be tailored to a role. After you apply decisions, the service may re-analyse the improved CV. You may preview and download a generated PDF.

CVPro is a support and optimisation tool. We help you improve the presentation, structure, clarity and ATS-oriented qualities of your CV documents. We do not recruit, place candidates, mediate employment relationships, or act as a career coach, lawyer, or employment agency.

Nothing in the service constitutes a promise, warranty or guarantee of interviews, job offers, salary outcomes, employer responses, ATS acceptance, ranking, parsing success, or any hiring result. Outcomes depend on factors outside our control (including employers, markets and the accuracy of information you provide).

You may use CVPro as a guest without registration. Guest data is tied to a browser session cookie and may be limited or deleted as described in the product.

Registered accounts may retain multiple reviews subject to plan limits. You must provide accurate registration details, keep credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account, except where caused by a security breach solely attributable to us.

Paid plans and credit packs are billed through Stripe at the prices and conditions shown before checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in accordance with Stripe and your account settings. Taxes may apply as displayed at checkout.

Certain features consume credits as indicated in the app. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and expire only if expressly stated in the product offer. We may correct obvious pricing errors before accepting an order.

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. For digital content or services supplied immediately, that right may be lost if you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge loss of the withdrawal right, as required by applicable law (including Decree-Law No. 24/2014 in Portugal). You retain ownership of CVs and other content you upload. You grant XENOVARIT a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, analyse and display that content solely to operate and provide the service (including structured storage, review results, original files and generated PDFs).

You alone are responsible for the truthfulness, lawfulness and completeness of the content you submit and for any CV you send to third parties. You must review every suggestion before accepting it. You confirm you have the right to upload the content and that it does not infringe third-party rights or contain unlawful material.

You must not: upload unlawful, defamatory or infringing content; introduce malware; attempt to breach security or circumvent plan limits; scrape or overload the service at scale; resell or sublicense access without our prior written consent; or use the service to process third-party personal data without a lawful basis.

We may suspend or terminate access, without prejudice to other remedies, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or pose a risk to the service, other users or our systems.

Analysis, scores, ATS indicators and suggestions are generated by automated systems, including third-party AI models. They are estimates and drafting aids only. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or inappropriate for your situation.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that suggestions will improve your chances with any specific employer or ATS, nor that any particular score will be achieved or maintained.

You must verify all facts, dates, titles, skills and claims in any CV before use. XENOVARIT and CVPro do not invent professional experience on your behalf and are not liable for decisions you make based on the outputs.

We strive to keep CVPro available but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or continuous access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, plans or the service, with reasonable notice where practicable. We are not liable for downtime caused by maintenance, force majeure, third-party providers or factors beyond our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, XENOVARIT and its directors, employees and contractors are not liable for: loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or employment opportunities; indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages; or any hiring, career or third-party decision related to your use of the service — whether based on contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived, and without excluding liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence where such exclusion is unlawful, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to CVPro is limited to the total fees you paid to XENOVARIT for CVPro in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty euros (€50) if you only used free features.

You may stop using CVPro and, where available, delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or for operational, legal or security reasons. Provisions which by their nature should survive (including licences limited to wind-down, disclaimers, liability limits and governing law) remain in force after termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, excluding conflict-of-law rules that would refer to another legal system.

Subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Portugal. Consumers resident in the European Union retain any non-waivable rights to bring proceedings in the courts of their Member State of residence and to use available out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms.
